All NASA instrument projects have a standard protocol of reviews that occur during the course of building the instrument (see timeline). Below are excerpts from the two main reviews that have occurred so far. The Flight Readiness Review (FRR) is forthcoming.

On October 31, 2006, NASA Administrator Mike Griffin announced that there will be another servicing mission (SM4) to Hubble to be launched in mid- to late-2008. Read NASA Press Release
