Much of my WFPC2 research has been with the F555W and F814W filters.
I have avoided F606W as it transforms poorly to the Johnson V band.
I have used WFPC2 to work on open clusters, globular clusters, and
white dwarfs. I feel dropping F555W or a close equivalent from WFPC3
would be a mistake both for comparisons with past WFPC2 data and
comparisons with the large body of ground-based V-band data.
