agreed.  however, as discussion threads develop, it could work out
fine.  if there are no issues, then we're all set!

also agreed.  this discussion board went up as a part of the schedule
for implementation that we discussed at the SOC meeting, and it is
to be used by the SOC to assess IF we want an electronic discussion
forum of this sort.
